Disclaimer
This blog is intended not to point fingers at anyone, but rather to inform those who are trying to get started working at home about what to look for. There are certain types of work that are, more often than not, scams. There are spam emails that are intended to deceive and defraud. And there are some companies that are just plain dirty.
I rarely name specific companies, but rather try to help you by pointing out the signs of a scam. I’m happy to take a look at specific companies (time permitting) and tell you what I think, but like everyone else in the world, I’m not perfect. So far I’ve received no complaints from any of the companies discussed in the comments, so I’m assuming that I haven’t missed the mark on them. But it could happen at some point.
Also, I try not to censor legitimate comments. If I feel that someone is just trying to smear a company, I may delete the comment. Otherwise, I feel that everyone is entitled to express their opinion, as long as my readers realize that these are the opinions of the commentors, and not necessarily myself.
